 Shyam Shah: Nepal’s
top mountain biker, Shyam Shah is the Mountain Biking Guide of KMB. A part time
student of Law, Shyam has been working with us for the past 5 years. Since 1995,
Shyam has been winner of the National Championship race, as holder of this title
for 4 successive years, this makes him the No. 1 mountain biker in Nepal. Last
year, Shyam spent 3 months in Keswick, England, refining his technical knowledge
of bikes further under the expert tutelage of Amos Doron. As well as learning
more about the mountain biking business, Shyam also had a lot of fun training
in the Lake District with the current British Mountain Biking Champion, Barry
Clarke.Shyam also competes regularly in America, this year he participated in
no less than 13 cross country races in Colorado, including the Norba Mercury Tour
race across Steamboat, Co. during August’99.
 Rajesh Shrestha: Another
veteran Mountain biking guide of KMB is Rajesh Shrestha, a well known mountain
biker of Nepal. A yearly prize winner in the Nepal Mountain Biking Championship
race since ‘96 , Rajesh is a well saluted mountain biker in his country.
He has mountain biked all the back trails of Kathmandu, foothills of Kangchenjungha
and the high trails between Pokhara and Kathmandu. With his good looks and native
charm, Rajesh is particularly popular among girl bikers!
Tim Greening: Motivator and architect of KMB is Tim Greening. A
renowned Himalayan mountain biker, Tim is the Director of UK & US based leading
worldwide mountain bike operator, KE Adventure Travel. Tim has biked hundreds of miles of the rugged
Central Asian Middle Kingdoms of Kazakhstan, Kirghistan; Western China & Pakistan.
Tim has also led biking trips to Bhutan, Sikkim and India. Single
handedly, Tim has pioneered many untapped mountain trails in the Nepalese Hills,
mapping them out as new Mountain Bike Destinations in the Geographic Map of Nepal.
Tim’s most recent adventure was a Heli-Mountain Biking in Nepal. Flying with
his girlfriend to the northern flank of the 8000m Annapurna, the pair made a pioneering
ride from the Southern flank of Thorung Pass (5,500 m) and descending to Pokhara
via the Kali Gandaki Gorge, 2000 m, the deepest Gorge in the world.You may

Good friend and Technical Advisor of KMB is Amos Doron. A well known mountain
biker in the Lake District of England, Amos successfully runs two acclaimed professional
mountain biking centres in Keswick and Manchester. Amos has Mountain Biked in
Pakistan, India, Sikkim, Bhutan, Nepal and Tibet, and carries first hand Himalayan

Bikrum Pandey: Founding
President of KMB is Bikrum Pandey, a native Himalayan professional of Nepal. Bikrum
has been busy over the past years mainly organising treks, expeditions and adventure
travel in the Himalayas; but with his unrelenting passion to always explore something
new in the adventure tourism of his country, Bikrum has decided to go mountain
biking, beginning the new millennium.
