(Code# C-1) Helambu,
which lies north of Kathmandu, is inhabited by an ethnic group, Sherpas, living
in the shadow of the Langtang-Lirung mountain rage amidst magnificent flora and
numerous Buddhist monasteries. Starting the trek from an altitude of around 800
mt. The trails are never overcrowded nor too commercialised.
Itinerary
- Day-01/02:
Arrive at Kathmandu. Fullday sightseeing.
- Da-03/11:
The trek commences by driving to Sundarijal with overnight at Chisopani, Pati
Bhanjyang, Kutumsang, Malemchigoan, Tarkeghyang, excursion to Ama Yangri, Sermathan,
Dhobichaur, Shivghat.
- Day-12/14:
Return drive to Kathmandu from Shivghat and next two days at leisure and sight
seeing.
- Day-15:
Departure.

This are, north of Kathmandu is one of the least tredded regions but one of the
most rewarding. Two rest days are built into the program at Kyangjin Gompa (3750
m) for the purpose of the valley to the Buddhistic lands of the north.
Itineray
- Day-01/02:
An early start, drive to Dhunche, 120 kms north of Kathmandu. After first night
at Dhunche continue via Syabrubensi, Lama Hotel Kyangjin Gompa, Excursion, retrace
to Lama Hotel, Syabru and Dhunche.
- Day-13/14:
Return drive to Kathmandu and one day at leisure and sight seeing.
- Day-15:
Departure.
