Being
situated on the lap of the
mighty Himalayas, Nepal
offers unlimited opportunities
of specialized mountain
tourism. Trekking in Nepal
Himalayas is a special and
rewarding holiday. As there
are few roads extending
deeply into the hills, the
only way to truly visit
the remote regions of the
kingdom is in the slowest
and most intimate manner
walking. It requires more
time and effort, but the
rewards are greater and
unforgettable.
Majestic, awe-inspiring,
breathtaking, magnificent
the Himalayas deserve
every accolade they have
ever inspired. But no
amount of description
can adequately convey
the beauty of Nepal's
most prized geographical
asset. Only trekking in
Nepal will confirm what
the guidebooks say.
While trekking, you will
see the great diversity
of Nepal. Villages embrace
many ethnic groups and
cultures. The terrain
changes from tropical
jungle to high-glaciated
peaks in the space of
only 150km. The beauty
and attraction of Nepal
emanates not only from
the mountains themselves,
but also from their several
attractive surroundings.
Nepal is a country of
friendly people, picturesque
villages and an amazing
variety of cultures and
traditions.
Trekking in Nepal will
take you through a country
that has captured the
imagination of mountaineers
and explorers for more
than 100 years. You will
meet people in remote
villages whose lifestyle
has not changed in generations.
We take the travelers
all over to afford the
hidden paradise and magnetic
natural, cultural diversities
to enjoy their holidays.
Trekking arrangements
can be made for mountain
climbers as well as for
people who have never
hiked in the mountain
before their visit to
Nepal. There are a number
of areas, which are open
for trekking. The most
popular areas are Khumbu
(Everest region), Annapurna
and Langtang regions.
Besides these new destinations
are also opened for trekking.
People with limited time
at their disposal can
even avail a number of
beautiful day walks within
Kathmandu valley which
combines cultural experiences
with view of the Himalayas.
Trekking can be primarily
done in two different
ways: The Full camping
style trekking and the
Tea House style trekking
(Lodge trek).
Each guided trek is under
the control of a sirdar
(experienced trekking
guide) who is responsible
for arranging accommodation
and meals, whether it
is a lodge or camping
area, and ensuring a full
complement of porters
are ready every day as
well as looking after
the other staffs. His
responsibility is also
to take care of clients
and look after them well.
Lodge
Treks / Teahouse trekking.
Staying in local inns
and lodges, known as teahouse
treks, can also be arranged.
On lodge trekking we are
not going to carry lots
of equipment like in camping
treks. We only take our
necessary gear and porter
to carry them. However,
privacy, peace and quiet
at night, and a relaxed
trekking pace have to
be sacrificed for the
sake of your budget. Our
English-speaking Sirdar
will assist in arranging
places to eat and sleep,
while the porters carry
your personal baggage.
We sleep in the local
lodge with proper hospitality.
The fresh and hygienic
foods would be supplied
from the local lodge wherever
we reach. Decent accommodations
for trekkers are available
in the Annapurna, Everest,
Langtang and other commonly
trekked regions.
Lodges in the hills provide
a special meeting place
for trekkers from around
the world. You will have
a good opportunity to
see how people in the
hills of Nepal live, work
and eat and may develop
at least a rudimentary
knowledge of the Nepalese
language.
Camping
Treks/Tented trekked.
This is the classic style
of trekking in Nepal.
Camping treks can be conducted
almost anywhere in Nepal.
Camping treks is quite
large fully organized
outfitter. Completed with
guide, cook, assistant
guide, kitchen boys, kitchen
and camp helper, porters
for fuel provision of
delicious food, we provide
unique and fresh foods
without harmful chemical
by using less number of
tin foods, as much as
possible we will use fresh
fruits and vegetable.
High quality of kitchen
equipments, sleeping tents,
staffs tents, dinning
tents, toilet tent, shower
tent, dinning table, chairs,
mattress, foods, sleeping
bags are provided. Local
porters carry all provisions,
camping equipment, and
trekkers' personal baggage.
Full camping treks provide
quiet nights, the freedom
to choose your own pace,
camping sites offering
the best views, and most
important of all, quiet
peace and privacy.
The meals would be supply
3 times a day from the
trekking chef as well
as tea coffee and chocolate
would be served. The menu
is always on your choice
for Continental, Chinese,
Indian or Nepalese items.
Your supportive staffs
would serve you inside
the dinning tent in familiar
environment. Those on
camping treks, trekkers
interact with Nepal and
its people that will determine
the richness of your experiences.
You can learn Nepali and
gain great cultural insight
from the Nepali staffs
thus the camping treks
offers you an extra excitement
of trekking in Himalayas.
Trek Gradation Easy
:Generally between
900 and 2000 meters (3000-6500
feet) with plenty of ups
and downs. Travellers needs
to be regular walkers to
fully enjoy this experience.
It is possible, however,
to design "easy and short"
three or four day treks
with only two to five hours
walking per day.
Moderate
: Possibly involving side trips to higher elevations between
900 and 3000 meters (3000
- 10000 feet).
Moderate
to Strenuous : Reasonably demanding trekking at altitude up-to 4000
meters (13000 feet) with
trips to higher elevations
and could include treks
away from villages on ill-defined
mountain trails.
Strenuous
: All Tibet tours are included here primarily because of
the rigours of the climate
and over high altitude,
varying from Lhasa 3700
meters (12000 feet) to high
pass crossing by vehicles
or on foot over 5000 meters
(16500 feet). Treks in other
areas treks of demanding
nature, require all participants
to be fit and in excellent
health, often in remote
alpine areas and sometimes
reaching altitudes over
5500 meters (18000 feet).
Alpine
: These are extremely demanding treks, sometimes in very
remote areas on rough terrain,
and could include (in Nepal)
climbs of one or more of
the "trekking peaks" (maximum
altitude, Mt. Meera at 6461
meters, 21192 feet). Participants
should have at least a basic
knowledge of the use of
crampons and ice axe, though
first time climbers may
be accepted on some of the
"easy" routes. Medical certificates
are required for acceptance
into these climbing treks.
Mountains,
River and Jungle
Junket - 08/14
days (Easy/Moderate)
This is perfect introduction to the Kingdom of
Nepal which offers
everything that
is quintessentially
Nepalese. Our adventure
starts with trek
through the scenic
routes in the Annapurna
foothills near Pokhara
, amidst blazing
rhododendron flowers
in the cool forest,
through Gurung village
under the gaze of
Annapurna, Dhaulagiri
and Machhapuchhare
peaks. After the
mountain sojourn,
we move on to a
rafting experience
in the Trishuli
river, which flows
in to the heart
of Royal Chitwan
National Park where
we will spend a
couple of days at
the lodge/tented
camp to absorb the
jungle atmosphere.
Here we will put
you through a gamut
of experience such
as game sighting
on elephant back,
rushing through
the waters in a
dugout canoe and
on foot in the jungles
for bird watching
before coming back
to Kathmandu. Please
note that this itinerary
has been designed
so that one can
choose some or all
of the segments.

ft, the trail
joins the ancient
trading route
beside the Kali
Gandaki River
which divides
the Annapurna
and Dhaulagiri
massifs and it
continues through
the Gurung villages
and rhododendron
forests of the
Annapurna foothills
to complete this
magnificent circuit
at Pokhara.
People with limited time can make this trek shorter
by finishing it
at Jomsom and
taking Jomsom
/ Pokhara flight.
However, completing
the entire circuit
is recommended.
The
Forbidden Land of
Mustang - 15/20
days (Strenuous) Mustang,
entirely Tibetan
in character, once
an inaccessible
area, is now open
to a limited number
of adventure seekers
who want to do something
unique and have
an unforgettable
experience. It is
one of the rare
places not yet spoilt
by the tourists.
Lying behind the
main Himalayan range,
Mustang is to the
north of Jomsom
and Pokhara. Lo-Manthang,
capital of Mustang
is an old walled
town where life
has not been disturbed
and touched by modern
civilization for
centuries.
Face
to Face with
Everest - 7/18
days (Strenuous)
Everest lies in the Khumbu region in eastern Nepal.
Exposed to the
world since
1950s, it has
been the focal
point of attraction
for mountaineers
from all over
the world. This
magnificent
peak has been
the pride of
Nepal. Khumbu
region is the
land of the
Sherpas and
one of the most
popular trekking
destinations
in the world.
Treks to Khumbu
region start
from Jiri after
a long drive
from Kathmandu
or after a flight
to Lukla. We
explore Sherpa
villages and
monasteries
with magnificent
view of some
of the most
beautiful and
highest mountains
in the world.
For those with
less time yet
wanting to experience
the culture
of Khumbu, can
fly in and out
of Lukla. An
Opportunity
to experience
Everest from
close-up !
Various trips to Khumbu region for short and long
trekking are
available.
The
trek starts with
a seven hour drive
to Jiri (1905
mt./6,248 ft.),
which lies on
the border of
Solu Khumbu. Then
up to Kala Patthar
(5545 mt./18,188
ft.) gradually
gaining height
thereby facilitating
the acclimatizing
process. After
conquering several
challenging passes,
we pass Lukla.
We then climb
to Namche, the
bustling town
where we spend
some time getting
used to the height.
Continuing via
Tyangboche Monastery
to Dingboche and
then, Lobuche
we reach in time
for an early morning
ascent to Kala
Patthar which
overlooks the

It
is the third
highest peak
at 8586 mt./28,162
ft. situated
astride the
Nepal / Sikkim
border, only
a few miles
from Tibet.
Being in a sensitive
area, there
are restrictions
on most of the
routes. The
Kanchanjunga
massif with
its myriad glacier
system, high
pass crossing
and vast un
trekked foothills
offers the opportunity
for almost endless
exploration.
Best
in the early
autumn or late
spring by which
haza and heat
in the low valley
floors will
contrast sharply
with challenges
offered high
in the shadow
of Kanchanjunga.
Helambu
Trek - 10 days (Moderate)
For those pressed
for time and yet wanting
to absorb the culture
of both the regions,
this is an ideal trek,
that starts from the
north of Kathmandu valley.
Inhabitants of Helambu
are ethnic group of
Sherpas who are quite
different form the Sherpas
of the Solu Khumbu region.
Another plus point of
this trip is that the
trails are never overcrowded
even during the peak
season.

This lake is the largest
in Nepal. It is situated
at an altitude of 2985
mt./9,790 ft. above

wild grandeur that includes
blue sheep and snow
leopards.
This trek can be combined
with wildlife in Bardiya
National Park and Tharu
culture in the far west.
Dhaulagiri
Trek - 27 days (Strenuous)
This trek
in central Nepal is
one of the longest trek
which takes you through

Ghora Tabela in the
Langtang valley, we
go further up to Kyangjin
Gompa, a Buddhist monastery
at about 3650 mt. /
11,972 ft. This secluded
monastery resembles
a bowl encircled by
snow peaks. From here
a day hike to Langshisha
Glacier at 4575 mt.
/ 15,000 ft. can be
taken, or a day hike
to Yala and thereafter,
upon return visit Kathmandu.
We also may
come down to Gosaikunda,
which is beautiful all
the year round. The
lake amidst the spectacular
alpine setting is a
rare scene to behold.

trails, we may trek

before coming back to
Kathmandu.
Visiting
the ‘Snow Leopard’ -
28/35 days (Strenuous)

Dolpo, off limits to
foreign visitors previously
to protect the ecosystem
has been reopened for
the second time by His
Majesty’s Government

the high plateau of
Tibet, rare sightings
of wildlife have been
made in this area. The
spectacular scenery
of the most beautiful
lake, Phuksundo is the
highlight of this trek.
Trek starts
with a flight to Dolpo
from Nepalgunj. People
willing to do long trek

Makalu Trek - 28 days
(Strenuous)

days (Moderate to Strenuous)

us to link an under-used route between
the villages that sit at the foot of the
Annapurna massif. We start walking to
Dhampus, Landrung and Ghandrung a large
Gurung village which offers excellent
views of Annapurna and other mountain
in this area. Those we wish to extend
the trek, can go to Ghorepani for an ascent
of Poon Hill (3193 mt./ 10473 ft.) to
have the most beautiful 360? panorama
of all the famous mountains in this area.

of the most remote and unspoilt regions
in the Himalayas. Trek starts from Gorkha

a huge precipitous valley to the contrasting
world of Sama, crossing snow-covered famous
Larkya La (pass) and descending to the
Marshyangdi Khola.
