Kathmandu valley has long been the center of culture,
trade and learning in Nepal. Kathmandu valley comprises the three cities Kathmandu,
Patan and Bhaktapur. A short trek along the northern ridge of Ganesh Himal, Langtang
and Gauri Shanker Himal as well as rewarding views over the foothills and a bird's

TREK Named
after the trail walked by the Prince of Wales, the trek is ideal for people with
little time but want to see both Nepalese village life and the mountains. The
trek leads through Brahmin, Chhetri and Gurung village with many points on the
trail offering clear views of Macchapucchare, Annapurna, Manaslu, Himalchuli and
Lamjung.

REGION
POKHARA
FOOTHILLS GHOREPANI-GANDRUNG This
is not a very strenuous trek and passes through forests of Rhododendrons, Nepal's
national flower. Sometimes trees as high as ten meters can be seen and during
the flowering season, the landscape is stunning and captures your memory as long
as you live. Fishtail mountain can be viewed closely and Manaslu, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri
and the Annapurna peaks can be seen.
ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP TREK For a trek
with few altitude problems, the Annapurna region provides you with unparalleled
access to spectacular horizons of snowy peaks, so high that you'll find yourself
looking twice before you believe that they are not clouds. As well as providing
the views for which the trek is famous, the trail takes you through an ever changing
landscape of rice fields, misty forests and tiny local villages. |
MUKTINATH
- JOMSOM This is an ideal winter route staying at lower
altitudes but offering all the fine mountain views of the area together with the
experience of trekking through the Himalayan and entering the a arid landscape
of the upper Kali Gandaki valley and southern Mustang. The variety of the Kali
Gandaki adds the return Journey which is different in most aspects to the outward
trek. AROUND ANNAPURNA
The trek around the Annapurna massif is one of the finest in the Himalayan.
The sheer diversity of the mountain scape, the exhilaration of
crossing a high mountain pass and the unsurpassed views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri
and Manaslu ranges are the essentials of this outstanding trek. |
TREKKING PROGRAMS: LANGTANG
REGION HELAMBUTREK Immediately north of Kathmandu, Helambu lies within
the of ridge lines surrounding the Melemchi river. This picturesque route are
punctuated by mani walls, prayer flags, chortens and a monastery at Tarkeghyang.
Mostly inhabited by Sherpas, this place is ideal for trekkers who want a good
trek in a country with a diversity of culture, flora and fauna.
LANGTANG-GOSAINKUNDA
The Langtasng Valley lies closer to Kathmandu than other trekking regions,
and is lesser used by trekkers and locals. The valley of Langtang is protected
as the Langtang National Park. The return route passes the holy lakes of Gosainkund,
an important place of pilgrimage. |
TREKKING PROGRAMS: GIRKHA
LAMJUNG HIMAL The trek starts from the ancient
city of Gorkha, original home of the Shah dynasty and the famous Gorkha soldiers.
Crossing the Marsyandi river, it climbs north-west onto the flanks of Lamjung
Himal which is the eastward extension of the Annapurna range. the climb takes
you to around 4,300 m. through fir and rhododendron forests before turning south
to end your trek in Pokhara.
MAKALU
BASE CAMP This trek takes us deep into the
eastern Himalaays,providing some of Nepal's most unseen and amazing scenery. The
Barun valley is part of huge international protected area under an agreement between
Nepal and China. | TREKKING PROGRAMS: EVEREST REGION This trek follows a classic
approach to Mt. Everest, the highest peak on earth. It starts with a 7 hours journey
by bus to Jiri on the border of Solukhumbu. The route passes through the Sherpa
villages and the alpine area. Once past Lukla we climb to Namche, the main trading
village of the Khumbu area, where time is spent acclimatizing before continuing
on via Tengboche Monastery to Pheriche,Lobuche and the early morning ascent to
Kala Pattar.
KANCHENJUNGA
Kanchenjunga is the third highest peak in the
world at 8,598 m., it sits astride Nepal/Sikkim border
only a few miles from Tibet. Until very recently this
was a restricted area, so this is an ideal trek for
those who already known Nepal and want to get away
from the better known areas and visit a remoter part
where few foreigners have penetrated.

deity for his worshippers. Today, it is celebrated as a sample of original Tibet.
