  12 Days Fly in & Trek to Jomsom Muktinath:

Day 01: Kathmandu to Pokhara:
Kathmandu to Pokhara by drive or flight.
Day 02: Pokhara to Jomsom: (2858 mtrs.)
Take a morning flight to Jomsom, the headquater of Mustang district. Reach
Jomsom village after crossing the Kaligandaki.
Day 03: Jomsom to Kagbeni:
From Kagbeni trek continues about 3 hrs. Through the bank of Kaligandaki & reach to
Ekley-bhatti village. Trek one hour more to reach Kagbeni, which lies at the bank of
two river.
Day 04: Kagbeni to Muktinath: (3817 mtrs.)
Muktinath is an important pilgrimage for both Hindus & Buddhists with a Gompa & a
Pagoda style. Pagoda is dedicated to Lord Bishnu.The most interesting & importance
of the area however is the spot with burning natural gas. Walking distance is just
4 hrs.
Day 05: Muktinath to Marpha: (2709 mtrs.)
The trail descends to the Kaligandaki valley for over 2665-m.& reaches the village of
Marpha.This village is huddled behind a ridge for protection from the wind & dust.
Overnight stay at Marpha.
Day 06: Marpha to Ghasa: (1970 mtrs.)
Dramatic changes of vegetation from dry arid desert to pine & conifer forests can be
found while passing between Dhaulagiri & Annapurna region. Passing through
Kalopani, magnificent views of Annapurna range can be seen. Overnight rest at
Ghasa. Walking distant is approximately 6 hrs.
Day 07: Ghasa to Tatopani: (1189m.)
Gradually going down to Tatopani, trekkers enter valleys & fields the beautiful Rupse
Chhahara ( water -falls) leaves behind while reaching Dana village for lunch.
Day 08: Tatopani to Chitre:
Descending all day upto Chitre. The trail passes through thick forest of rhododendron.
The best view of sunset over Mt.Dhaulagiri & Annapurna can be seen from here.
Walking distance is 7 hrs.
Day 09: Chitre to Ghorepani:
The trail descends to Ghorepani. Rest day at Ghorepani.
Day 10: Ghorepani to Tadapani via Poonhill.
The guide will wake up early for 2-hour walk upto Tadapani via Poonhill.From
where one may witness the sunrise for a life time memory & 30 snow capped peaks,
the whole Annapurna range.
Day 11: Tadapani to Ghandruk:
This area is the finest & most famous trekking area of Nepal. The Annapurna ranges
& Machhapuchhre (Fistail) dominates the mountain views through glimpses farther
east to Lamjung Himal & the Manaslu range. The trail descends through huge
boulders into the maze of trails around Ghandruk at 1940 mtrs. Overnight stay at
Ghandruk village.
Day 12: Ghandruk to Pokhara via Birethanti:(1040m.)
Descending Pokhara via Birethanti one can see mules loaded with goods on route.
Walking distance is 5hrs.Walk upto Nayapool ( New-bridge) & drive to Pokhara for
two hours.
